These are the site rules. Please read these before writing a character application.
If you infringe on the rules, you will receive a warning. Once three warnings have been accumulated, you will be banned either temporarily or permanently, depending on the offence in question.
A1. Be respectful
This one goes without saying. Be nice to the other members and try to get along. No petty insults or crude language, please.
A2. No explicit content
Please be aware that some members may be more sensitive than others. Refrain from posting sexually explicit or violent content.
A3. No spamming
Keep it on topic, and please refrain from double-posting. If you want to add something to your post, you can simply edit it.
A4. Signature sizes
Any images in your signature may not exceed 200px in width and 650px in height. This is to avoid stretching the page.
A5. One account per person
You may have one single account which then contains all of your characters.
A6. Report misbehaviour
Feel free to contact staff members if you see something that bothers you, or if you simply have a question. We promise we won't bite.

B1. Wait for your character to be accepted
You may not begin role-playing a character before they have been accepted by a member of the staff. If you feel we are taking too long to review your application, feel free to send a polite reminder.
B2. Canon characters
You may claim a maximum of three official characters, and only one of these may be from the Mane Six. However, you may create as many original characters as you want.
B3. Respect posting order
When roleplaying, wait for your turn before posting. If you wish to join an ongoing thread, please wait until the last member in the cycle has posted, unless you have talked about it with the other participants beforehand. An example of this would be:
- Member A posts
- Member B joins
- Member A posts
- Member B posts
- Member C joins
- Member A posts
... and so on.
B4. Respect private threads
If a thread is marked as [closed], [private] or the like, do not join unless you have permission from the other participants.
B5. Godmoding/powerplaying
You do not have control over other people's characters. Please do not narrate on behalf of them.
B6. Mary Sue and her friends
Your character can not be without their limits. If your character is very Mary-Sueish, they will likely not be accepted. There is no fun in characters that are almighty, all-round perfect or created just for the sake of being pitied by everyone.
B7. Have fun!
Don't take offence if another person's character wrongs yours. This is, after all, an RP site, and the actions of a character does not reflect the opinions of the player. Let's have fun! Also, congratulations, you read the rules! To prove you have done so, please put the following super secret password at the bottom of your first application: Friendship
